Eyebrow Transplant

An eyebrow transplant is not about simply adding hair — it is a precise procedure that defines facial expression and balance. Eyebrows play a key role in how the face is perceived, influencing proportions and overall harmony. At Estetica Lounge, we approach eyebrow transplantation as part of facial design, where shape, density, and growth direction are individually tailored rather than copied from trends.

The technique involves extracting grafts from the donor area, typically the back of the scalp, and implanting them into the eyebrow region with full control over angle and direction. This is the most critical aspect of the procedure. Eyebrow hairs grow at a very flat, acute angle and change direction along the brow. They are also always visible at close range. Any inaccuracy — overly vertical placement, incorrect angulation, or excessive density — immediately looks unnatural. For this reason, the focus is not on speed or graft numbers, but on meticulous precision in every zone.

Before the procedure, at Estetica Lounge, we carry out a detailed consultation and custom design of the eyebrow shape. Facial anatomy, natural asymmetry, skin type, facial expressions, and the patient’s preferences are all taken into account. We do not replicate standard or “trending” shapes. Each design is created from scratch to ensure the eyebrows look natural both at rest and in motion, without appearing artificial.

As with any hair transplant, the donor area is a limited resource. The follicles that are extracted do not grow back in the same location. This requires careful and even extraction to preserve the natural appearance of the donor zone. We work with the minimum number of grafts necessary to achieve the desired result and avoid unnecessary use of the donor area.

The procedure is performed in one day under local anesthesia, without hospitalization. After finalizing the design, graft extraction is carried out, followed by implantation. Each graft is placed manually, taking into account the changing direction of hair growth along the eyebrow — from the head to the tail. This is a slow, highly focused process where every millimeter matters.

Recovery is relatively quick. In the first days, small scabs and mild redness may appear — this is a normal healing response and typically resolves within 7–10 days. By that point, the area looks clean and patients can return to their daily routine. Within 2–4 weeks, the transplanted hairs shed — this is a normal phase known as shock loss. The follicles remain intact, and new hair growth begins around the third to fourth month. The final result develops gradually over 9–12 months.

An eyebrow transplant is suitable for patients with sparse, asymmetrical, or damaged brows, as well as for those who want to reshape their eyebrows after over-plucking or hair loss. It is important to understand that transplanted hairs retain the characteristics of the donor area — they continue to grow and require regular trimming. This is a normal part of maintenance and is always explained in advance.

A well-executed eyebrow transplant should not look like a procedure. It should appear as a natural part of the face, without harsh lines, excessive density, or visible intervention. This is achieved not by the technique alone, but through attention to detail — direction, density, transitions, and overall geometry.

At Estetica Lounge, eyebrow transplantation is treated as a precise aesthetic procedure, not a mass service. We create results that look natural at close range, move naturally with facial expression, and remain consistent over time.
